Chuck Schumer's Pathetic Defense of Joe Biden

Chuck Schumer is a political stooge. "Chuck Schumer said on Tuesday that Joe Biden’s denial of sexual-assault allegations is “sufficient,” indicating that the Senate’s top Democrat plans to stick with the party’s expected standard-bearer in the November presidential election.The Senate minority leader’s comments continue a pattern of top Democrats standing by the former vice president amid claims from a former Senate staffer, Tara Reade, who alleges that Biden sexually assaulted her in the early 1990s. Biden has repeatedly denied Reade’s claims, and his allies in Congress aren’t wavering in their support."

Didn't Biden call for an investigation and for all records to be released? Didn't Cuomo completely bungle the looking Covid crisis in NY for more than a month? Just asking.

This ProPublica article is a deep dive into the early responses to COVID-19 in NY and CA. Cuomo and de Blasio were late to the party because they did not heed their medical expert's advice soon enough. Also, apparently they despise each other, did not share data. Mayor Breed has a good working relationship with Gov. Newsom, listened to her experts.

Anyone who thinks Cuomo would be a good Democratic candidate should first investigate his history of working with Republicans and conservative Dems to allow the R's to keep control of the state Senate, thus thwarting many liberal measures for years. Thankfully, the rightwing Dems were voted out in 2018.

Sounds like you want another four years of Trump. Everything I've read leads me to believe that Tara Reade is just plain making this up. Biden is the candidate. Negative remarks and lies about him help Donald Trump. Oh and lets remember that Trump is a rapist, a lier and a pervert. Melania looks like she is in total fear when she is next to him. And lets not forget that Trump and his Trumpies are a clear and present danger to our freedom.

But why not keep questioning, exploring possibility? Reads like your world is defined by trump fear. Biden has always been a weak presidential candidate. With all his experience he just doesn't connect well on the national stage. The op choice is just an attempt to deal with this reality. The time left before the demo convention, even more time before we vote, is a time of possibility sharpened by pandemic tragedy. Sure let Biden carry the flag for now.
