All people develop mental models that give meaning to their lives. The mental model of the Trump administration and the conservatives is OPPRESSION. They oppress the sick, the black and brown, women, the poor. THAT is what gives meaning to their lives. They murder Yemenis by proxy. They murder Palestinians by proxy. They murder Syrians by proxy. They murder the environment with pollutants and CO2. All around the world, America gives meaning to its life by murder and oppression. Trump is the head of this murdering cabal. Now they are murdering the Constitution. General Strike! Bring the nation to a standstill.

I appreciate that you acknowledge my "brutal analysis." I did not understand what Rossman was trying to say. It felt like a threat or a warning. Oh, well. I am way too old to give up my brutal analysis because someone threatens or warns me. The hour is getting late. I have spent many decades learning as much as I needed to be able to offer a brutal analysis. We will shortly--maybe this summer--receive a brutal analysis as the globe warms up. I am trying to use the skills I've acquired as a psychotherapist to help my fellow human beings understand what has brought us to this point.
