Bill to allow cell sites on light poles, etc.

Assembly member Gatto (Burbank, Glendale) is sponsoring massive land grab bill to allow cell sites on light poles (even in front of your home), on public school property, and all city property without local approval, but fire stations are exempt. This bill is AB 2788 https://celltowersites.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/20150AB2788_97.pdf and needless to say this bill if passed would be the largest land grab to the wireless industry in California's history

Prior to this, Mr. Gatto sponsored a bill to break up the CPUC which would destroy most of the state oversight of wireless and other utilities. That bill passed the Assembly, but looks like it will die in the Senate.

Please write or call his office in order to stop this and contact your state assembly members as well. If this bill passes, there will be no way to stop a cell tower. Please read more info here and contact info on how to stop https://celltowersites.com/2016/06/1...a-legislature/

Opposition caused Assemblyman Gatto to pull AB 2788, so it's history. Thank you to those of you who made calls and sent email!
