A goat was knocking at my door!

    (not actual goat)
If you live in the vicinity of Pleasant Hill and Mitchell Court and are missing a black and white goat, it was knocking at my door at 1:30am this morning (March 7th). It was a very friendly goat and I fed it an apple while waiting for the Sebastopol Police to arrive. It was a pretty funny phone call!

The wayward goat was picked up by animal control. As I mentioned it was a very people friendly goat and yes it was politely head butting my door and wanted to come inside! I hope it is reunited with its owner soon! The two police officers were very friendly too!

There has been a Lost and Found Animals notice running in the PD for about a week:

"Lost endangered goat: Reward offered. Blk/brn 8 mo. old buck w/horns wearing a harness and short yellow leash.. Escaped near Napa Rd & 8th St. E near Sonoma Square. (415)828-5674."

Not sure how it could have made its way to Sebastopol from Sonoma but you never know. You might want to give the owners a call.

Hi! I just spoke with the people in Sonoma and they have found their goat; so we don't have a match unfortunately
    Love,
