My post on RedCross under Fire was deleted here and from my FB page, but not B4 TV news

My post about the RedCross corruption entitled "Read it and Weep" has been deleted, but the information got out to the news before that happened. The woman who wrote it is having trouble with her computer. Any guesses as to why? She's a local whistleblower!

If there's actual reasons to have concern, helping to hide truth is adding tragedy to tragedy.

I didn't see your article, but if there's red flags, factual evidence and probable cause like any other fraud or corruption crime, it would be really stupid to give this organization money and re-victimize victims by denying them the hard earned/raised money the kind and caring community is going so far out of their way to raise to help.

Helping prevent this money from being wasted would be an act of courage and empowerment. The act of supressing awareness and investigation after becoming aware of serious questions is an act of abetting criminality and coverup.

If the Red Cross does not provide actual public accounting of money received and distributed, there's one big black hole of opportunity for corruption. It's my understanding there were big concerns in this respect at Katrina.

Thank you Shandi for choosing to bring up disturbing questions when better choices of money distribution could make such a huge difference to so many people who lost everything.

There have been many unanswered questions to unaccounted for funds given to the Red Cross for the past 50 years, but even more so now, with the Internet. I've seen many accounts from eye witnesses at recent disasters in the past, including 9/ll, Hurricane Sandy, Haiti (where only 6 homes were built with half a billion donated) Katrina, and now with the Valley Fires. Propublico.net is a good source of information, besides hearing from the victims themselves. I'm probably sticking my neck out, even as a disabled senior who can't do much but share information. It's interesting that posts can be removed from FB, and here. I've emailed Barry about it.

Shandi, FYI, I tried to go to the "Propublico.net" website and it seems that the URL that you typed in is currently out of commission.

That's what I was wondering, but was totally unaware of that thread until today because it's been deliberately left out of the digest for days now for no other reason except to prevent people from seeing it.

I'd like like to know what the benefit to the fire victims is to suppress awareness that there might be much better outlets than the Red Cross for funneling money raised from local efforts directly to victims. When filtered by the Red Cross there is no transparency whatsoever of the how much local money is contributed or how those local contributions are distributed.
