    Recommendation for The Green Grocer

    Location:  Sebastopol/Gravenstein Station
    Hi Community ~

The Green Grocer (Rt 12 heading East, across from the Barlow) is a fabulous new eatery: organic, locally sourced, sustainable and deliciously prepared by a seasoned chef! I went there for the first time over the weekend seeking a soup to soothe my cold and sore throat, and Joe turned the stinging nettle soup on their menu into something sublimely healing. I look forward to savoring their more elaborate offerings once I'm well

Also, they are open late and offer a comfy place to hang.
    Very Sebby.

I've watched the Green Grocer cook. He uses the same spatula to handle bacon and then mix the veggies. The grills are separate, but the spatula handles it all. As a vegetarian, I don't want bacon grease mixed with my food, so I won't go there. I've watched this repeatedly.
