Dear Progressive, Conscious Community,
I’m gonna cut to the chase: If anti-choice Republicans win control of the Senate, they WILL put an abortion ban on the president’s desk.
The House has already passed a bill banning abortions after 20 weeks. Even now we don’t have a strong pro-choice majority in the Senate. And Mitch McConnell has publicly promised to make the 20-week abortion ban a top priority if he becomes majority leader.1
Make no mistake: It. Will. Happen.
Stop the 20-week abortion ban. Donate to stop anti-choice Republicans from taking over the Senate and to defend choice on all levels.
The rabidly anti-choice Susan B. Anthony List has pledged to spend $10 million to defeat pro-choice senators so they can pass an abortion ban NEXT YEAR.
And their strategy is deviously smart. They know 7 in 10 Americans support Roe v. Wade--so they’re advising their candidates to simply hide their positions.2
Seriously. They were just quoted in The New York Times saying that candidates who oppose abortion rights in cases of rape and incest should simply not admit it. "'Rape' is a four-letter word," they said. "Purge it from your lexicon."3
That’s why we’re launching a major public education campaign, with TV ads, social media, and mailings to undecided voters, to make sure voters know the truth. But we can only reach enough voters to make the difference if NARAL Pro-Choice America supporters like you chip in.

Thank you for helping to make choice real for all women,
Ilyse G. Hogue
