    A Rite-Aid Conundrum

Why are there always 40 cars in the parking lot and 10 people in the store?

Easy! The Rite-Aid parking lot is seving as a general parking lot for downtown, and it seems they don't mind. I certainly have used it as such, and it's also lured me to buy some things there that I might have gotten elsewhere.

I do notice that it has been more full lately. If it gets to the point where there are no free spaces, I wouldn't blame them for reserving it for their customers only, or perhaps some more flexible arrangement.

Maybe because there aren't any parking places on Main Street......

This is all very nice of them, I suppose, except for the customer who can't find a space in the lot (me, on more than one occaision), and has to cruise around the surrounding area and then park on the street, or in the lot in the plaza (which always seems to have at least one or two spots available, for some reason).

Heaven forbid, someone in pain, needing a scrip or some kind of first aid (again, me, for instance), might have some kind of priority.

If someone would remove all those abandoned cars sitting front of all those shops on Main Street, maybe we could create some.
