Do you Eat? YOU NEED TO PAY ATTENTION TO THIS ONE!

    Dear Friends and Community,

    WE NEED YOUR HELP!!!

If you haven’t been paying attention to your food lately, biotechnology giants such as Monsanto thank you for that. Because behind your back, they’ve succeeded in replacing86% of US corn with their patented insecticide-producing “frankencorn”. - Food Integrity Now, www.foodintegritynow.org - link to full article below.

The World is Watching! Mexico and Canada reported to Jeffrey Smith responsibletechnology.org, leader in OUR Right to Know what is in our food - Proposition 37, that if California passes Prop 37 they are right behind us. From what I understand, Mexico has already launched a campaign for food with integrity! Europe has banned GMOs as have several other countries.

If you don't know about GMOs I urge you to please take 10 minutes and educate yourself by going to a number of websites - just google gmos, or watch a YouTube on the topic - or go to responsibletechnology.org, fooddemocracynow.org, labelgmos.org

    If you know about GMOs
and haven't shared that with your:

    Neighbor

    Friend

    Local farmer

    Business associate

    Restaurant

    Grocery store

Please make it a point to contact at least one person/organization
    this week.

MAIL IN BALLOTS ARE SENT IN BY OCTOBER 10 - Its GO TIME!!!!

The opposition is fierce and besides wanting to control all of our seeds, their ad campaigns have people thinking that prop 37 will cost farmers and consumers more money and that GMOs are here to stop world hunger.

They are now working on taking down long standing pro-organic agricultural organizations through the back door.

No one wants to eat insecticide...

disguised as corn ~ non-organic CORN must be REGISTERED WITH THE FDA when planted because it is a PESTICIDE!!!

    You have an impact!
Get educational flyers to pass out - if even for 10 minutes - to people you see in parking lots, to parents at school pick-up and drop-off or at grocery stores etc....

You can simply tell them you are here in support of their right to know what is in their food - did they know non-organic corn is a pesticide?? Hand them the flyer and ask them to vote yes on 37.

    - email me for handouts

Hello neighbors who eat food ~ ~ Get your "YES on #37 " Lawn sign at the Sebastopol Farmer's Market on Sunday
or the Santa Rosa Wells Fargo Farmer's market on Saturday . There will be a table with materials and volunteers , so do join us . We need to win this one . How ghastly that a few corporations would be willing to poison/contaminate every
person , all the crops and all of nature just for a profit in their hellish pockets . California's vote can change the future of our country !! and world .

Thanks to Caverly and Datars supporting Prop 37!

Did you know that 50 countries have labeling for GMOs? ALL of Europe, Russia & China (yep, believe it or not they are way ahead of us on that, plus Russia just banned Monsanto's GMO corn), most of South America, India, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, parts of the MidEast. Why not us?

There will be a table at the Santa Rosa LBC/Wells Fargo Farmer's Market tomorrow and we will have yard signs as well as bumper stickers & buttons. We are asking for donations for all of those ($5-10 for yard signs, $1 for sticker or button) All educational materials are free!

If you live in Windsor or Healdsburg we need you to put up a yard sign or a banner (if you have a fence to attach it to) Sebastopol is getting saturated and we need to get those folks who aren't as savvy as our West County folks educated and up to speed on the lies that are in the ad blitz that has just started by Big BioTech.

PLEASE VOLUNTEER! Even for just one 2-3 hour shift outside grocery stores like Safeway, FoodMaxx, Grocery Outlet, WalMart (Windsor superstore only). Those stores are filled with processed food loaded with GMOs and those shoppers are the ones we need to reach. We only have three weeks left before early voting starts and we need YOU! We also could use some Spanish speakers for FoodMaxx & Lola's in Santa Rosa.

If you don't like talking to people, contact me anyway-put a yard sign up, a bumper sticker on your car, wear a YES on Prop 37 button everywhere, pick up materials to hand out in your neighborhood or at work. If you own a business, we have free signs you can put in your window.

EVERYONE needs to get involved in whatever way they can!

Re: Do you Eat? YOU NEED TO PAY ATTENTION TO THIS ONE!

i just hosted house guests from china and talked about food quality and trust. i would hesitate to say that china is ahead of us, chinese don't trust what food sellers say. they go to hong kong to get baby food if they can because they trust western sources more than their own. they think the food we get from chinese sources is lower quality than what is sold to them by the same providers, because we are more trusting. are they the future? or the past...
