    Dear Barry,

    I am certain that Curiosity "conforms with current standards of behavior or propriety" (the meaning of "decent"), but my sense is the robot was "falling" (the meaning of "descent").

    And I am certain that you are devoted to good English grammar, but your comment does seem snarky, as in "crotchety, snappish, impertinent, and maybe sarcastic or irreverent in tone or manner." Maybe the fact that you just turned 74 gives you an excuse for seeming crotchety, but you really should put yourself in check.
