    New local thrift shop!

I stopped briefly at the new Paradisia Thrift shop (which turns out to have "Elixir Cafe" inside) on Grav. Hwy. S., and found a great book before I even got inside the door, and it was cheap! I saw lots of cool stuff, and will go back for a closer look. It's just past the Emanji Temple, and they have a web site.

    Re: New local thrift shop!

Hi Sara - I was in there several weeks ago (actually drove past, but something made me go back!) Noticed a lot of little houses (Lilliput Lane-U.K./David Winter-U.K./Frazier-Scotland), and since I had had a collection some years ago, I was intrigued at the ridiculously low prices. Went to tell the sales clerk, showing her one I was going to buy. . . and discovered it was MINE. . . that I bought @ Classic Duck, in Santa Rosa . . . Feb. 12, 2000!!!!!!!!!! Guess it was meant to be mine. . . AGAIN!?!?! This time I paid $2.60 {it was on sale - besides the low price}, originally, I probably paid $35.00!!!!! Life is a hoot, eh!?!?!?! CL42

Or just before the Emanji Temple, if you're heading south from downtown Sebastopol.

    1190 Gravenstein Hwy. South
