Re: Assassinations, Spying and The Constitution: ACLU President Susan Herman Talks Big Gov

One thing that I noticed in this video is that the term "big government" that is used in this video does not mean the same thing as what the anti regulation groupies mean when they say it ("big government") in regards to the economy.

The term "big government" has turned into a buzz-word with several dissimilar and oftentimes opposing meanings that causes misguided interpretations that politicians and biased infotainment media pendents with an agenda capitalize on and by doing that they sometimes (intentionally) have the effect that nulls the most important meanings away from the consciousness of the real scrutiny of the public body and loses most crucial elements of the conversation which gets canceled out as a result and the greater good gets compromised so we end up forfeiting the best opportunity to process the information in an accurate and timely enough manner to be able to in a well informed way prod our reps into doing the correct things that would stand up to constitutional scrutiny but instead we end up having an eroded constitution that has to be repaired so it does not crumble.

Wow, Hotspring, a 144-word sentence! Gross!
But I do agree with you.
