She was actually happy to see me at our high school reunion. She confesses that she had thought about me from time to time. I sometimes wonder if she suffered a serious head trauma lol. It was like "who are you and what have you done with [name]?"
She accepted my facebook friend request. She was a knockout then and she's still got the most amazing eyes you have ever seen. That was 27 years ago. I sent her a message on Facebook and am waiting on her reply.
I think the reason she hated me was because I couldn't stop staring at her then. I thought she was the most exotic and beautiful girl in school.
Then when she rebuffed me, we were mortal enemies. She knew how to get under my skin, really well.![]()
Now she says she would like to write, so I sent her my email address and phone#. Maybe that was too strong.
I was advised by friends to ask her out to coffee and conversation about the old days. Life is so strange, sometimes. I guess we did some growing up. It's a beautiful thing.

Slow down, just type for a while. You will be less distracted by the physicality and more able to discover what you have in common. The big plus is you already know what the other looks like.

I think I'd like to know your qualifications. Granted, the fact she has thought of me doesn't equate love. The question was, is she in in love with me. Not if I am in love with her. She is a smart woman, successful and sharp. I need a way to know. A woman like this is a rare catch. She is a 27 year old dream girl. Asking people on the internet, for advice, is a crap shoot with all the trollers and the haters. I am looking for good solid advice here.

I'd ask her out for coffee, and continue emailing until the date rolls around, maybe even send her a hand-written card. I suppose all the projections, wonders, fantasies, and other mental game playing can be fun, but there's nothing like getting together and experiencing the chemistry (or lack there of). And bring flowers!![]()
I wouldn't be shy about telling her that you thought she was the "most exotic and beautiful girl in school."Whereas that made her uncomfortable in high school, I bet she'd like to hear it now, especially if you are still enchanted. Though you might want to wait a little bit to first build up some rapport.
I don't think the question is "is she in in love with me", though she may have thought about you, and I wouldn't be so sure you are in love with her. Clearly you are in love with the idea/vision of her. So get together and see how that feels and then spend some time with each other and find our who each other is and how you relate to each other and if you develop loving feelings for who she actually is.
Your timing is good. If she is single(is she?), I bet she's thinking she'd like a romantic partner to share the holidays with.![]()

Yes, she's single. I wont do that to anyone who is in a committed relationship. Also she's Jewish so our holidays are different but thats okay by me. I have never attended haunnakah (sic) before. That'd be a hoot and a half. Thanks. I will try and slow my pace down and approach her more gently.I'd ask her out for coffee, and continue emailing until the date rolls around, maybe even send her a hand-written card. Too much vested interest and probably too lonely, your an older guy and getting more desperate, unless you want to have children you are alone for the rest of your life...you invite people, not hope other people invite you. have something nice to invite someone into, or accept solitude. Whats so good about being involved with you?

Fresno-bob - Just have fun!! Don't assign a whole lot of meaning to anything quite yet.....have a date. if it goes well, as in you and she laugh (laughter is very important) and conversation is easy, then have a second date,..and so on....Yes, she's single. I agree with Mr Barry that you should confess your infatuation. Women love it when guys show their vulnerability....I'd ask if she thought of you as her nemesis like you thought of her...
How fun it could be to hook up with a high school crush!!
Chill and enjoy!!

First off, I am not looking to "hook up" with a high school crush. She was my "dream girl" then she became my "nightmare girl". We were the bitterest of rivals. I plan to tell her she was the girl of my dreams. She was. Is.
Thanks for your advice Mrs. Wacco. You and Barry were immense help. She is worth a lot to me.
As for you, Thadd, get a life beyond hating. I have a degree.
I have a lot to offer an angel like this.

Is watching television programs too old world for you fresno bob? You might want to watch "House" for tips on a new way of caring.
Kerista Village did it once upon a time, It was way before the phrase "tough love" came into play
