About Warning/Error Emails after you post

Hi Everybody,

For those of you that have posted recently, you may have received emails with a subject of "Warning: could not send message for past 4 hours" or similar and a body text of:

** THIS IS A WARNING MESSAGE ONLY **
** YOU DO NOT NEED TO RESEND YOUR MESSAGE **
**********************************************


This is nothing to be concerned about. What's happening is that WaccoBB.net sends out individual emails of your post to the people who are subscribed for them (it's usually around 25-75 members of our 6,000+ members). Some of those emails are not being delivered immediately because of some internet (non-WaccoBB) issue. It seems like all of the email addresses that experience this problem are in the Yahoo domain ([email protected]), so I'm guessing it's a problem with their network.

In any case, your message was successfully posted and will be on the WaccoBB.net website and it will be included in our Digest and has been sent to others who get individual emails. So don't worry and just delete the warning messages!

This is NOT about people trying to reply to you. People can still reply to your post and you'll get an individual email with their reply, whether they reply privately or publicly.

Hi Barry,

Along these lines: Today I posted a reply related to the shocking obama statement (the post with all the Falwell quotes) and I got my wacco confirmation, but I also got numerous warnings back in my box that it attempted to deliver for 4 hours with no result, and each one of those warnings was actually a failed delivery to various individuals who are signed up to the thread. Just FYI. They're all in my deleted file now, if you wanted to see one or any of them I could send.

It seems as though the below problem as returned. In addition, Sonic.net net (where this site is hosted) has had some problems with their email server that is delaying emails, which is why your digests and other WaccoBB emails have been "late". I'm hoping this will get resolved soon! Thanks for your patience!
