Here is Dr. Campbell's November Pandemic Update. It is a world-wide update. 11/01/20.
I want to talk about the Stanford study of COVID-19 spread due to the President's rallies. I have looked at several sources for this, but I have not yet seen the study itself. First, it was a study done by Stanford economists. The lead author and chair of Stanford’s economics department (B. Douglas Bernheim) spoke with the New York Times, and he said, “The motivation for this paper is that there is a debate that is raging about the trade-off between the economic consequences of restrictions [vs] the health consequences of transmission." The researchers looked at 18 rallies between June 20th and September 30th. These non-mask-wearing events “produced increases in confirmed cases of more than 250 per 100,000 residents.” This means 30,000+ new cases traced to the rallies. They reported 700+ deaths as a result. The big news about the deaths is that many of them were people who did NOT attend the rallies. Those people got sick because they were exposed to someone who went to the rallies. More on this when I can actually take a look at the source material.
