Great! Name them, please.
Also, we have the most important election in US history in only two months. It is with this overarching context that I point out what a scumbag Trump is, who openly admits--and proudly--that he sexually assaults women. Do you want to vote for that thing? Do you want to see that monster in the White House there for another 4 or "12 years?" Because that's what this thread is about.

Well, to play Devils Advocate... Bill Clinton pops to mind. While the Lewinsky thing may have been more a “moral” issue... allegations from sexual harrasment to outright rape dog him going back decades. And of course, another pal of Jeffrey Epstein.
In congress... let’s see- just on the rape/statory rape/sexual assault side. Bob Packwood (R) OR.
Brock Adams (D) WA. Mel Reynolds (D) IL
Jim Gibbons (R) NV
Tim Mahoney (D) FL
And I’ll throw in Gary Condit (D) CA and the unsolved murder of Chandra Levy
Yes... Trumps a scumbag. Not many of his supporters are here, and you’re largely just preaching to the choir.
As Michelle Obama said- when they go low you go high. This kinda post... it’s Trump’s style. Trying to foment hate and anger and not doing a #*}^ thing productive.
Want to know how people can vote for him? Look to the midwest, appalaicha, the rust belt where peoples lives, pre covid at least, improved greatly under his term (yes, a good portion of this, but nor all of it, was the recovery Obama/Biden should get credit for.
Or look at Evangelicals... who should logically despise Trump but support him largely on one single issue- abortion.
And of course... one can make the case, much like w bush/gore... those that voted for the 3rd party candidate- Sanders, handed trump the presidency. And there are many- including many here who will not vote for Biden

All of us here are not truly as conscious as we'd like everyone to believe. A conscious community is a wonderful objective, but the reality is that it's unfortunately not realistic. We are not one mind, but many, each with our own agendas and judgments. We are a microcosm of the world. Even so, every once in a while, we connect with a kindred spirit, which makes for us a joyful experience. So be it.

Bernie Sanders was not a third-party candidate. He ran as a Democrat, taking no financial support from corporate America. We truly will never know if he'd have beaten Trump in 2016.Well, to play Devils Advocate... Bill Clinton pops to mind. The 2016 polls clearly showed Sanders soundly defeating trump. Sanders would have been POTUS if the general election had been between Sanders and grumpf! Please don't take my word for it; you can look it up yourself because the information is everywhere. Try Real Clear Politics, Nate Silver's FiveThirtyEight website, Gallup Poll, or other reliable sources.

"Sanders would have been POTUS if the general election had been between Sanders and grumpf!"
The problem then, as now, is the ossified DNC Establishment/wasserstein/etc. They have their pecking order and Clinton had paid her dues, so she was set to be the candidate, come hell or high water. Sanders was an outlier and never would have been their choice or had their support. Without that, Sanders had an uphill battle.

don't forget the Overton Window idea. It's not clear how successful attacks on Sanders as a socialist would have been; it never got to that point. A lot has changed, and even now it's not clear how successful attacks on a Democrat (or even more vulnerable, an independent like Sanders) would be. Almost certainly because of the singular awfulness of Trump, because of the pandemic, because of the protests about racial equality and social equality, because of climate change showing immediate effects, the issue of socialism isn't top-of-mind for most voters. But we'll need to see if a candidate who's easily caricatured as a "socialist" as their most salient quality would do nationally.Sanders was an outlier and never would have been their choice or had their support. Without that, Sanders had an uphill battle.
Fortunately the window's sliding, kids who don't have the same hot-button reaction to that term are getting older, and in upcoming elections it may be an ineffective characterization.

"Grab them by the p - - - y"
- Donald Trump, President of the United States.
Trump is heard using vulgar terms where he bragged about grabbing women by the p---y in footage from 2005. Trump has frequently drawn fire for his remarks about women and was caught on tape having a foul-mouthed banter. Trump is such an inspiration and is so presidential.

Trump suffered a key loss in a defamation case brought by the columnist who accused him of rape
- Columnist E. Jean Carroll, who accused President Donald Trump of raping her two decades ago, won a key victory on Thursday in her defamation suit against the president.
- She is accusing Trump of hurting her reputation by accusing her of lying and otherwise attacking her.
- The judge presiding over the case rejected Trump's argument that Carroll can't sue him in New York because he lives in Washington and denied Trump's motion to delay discovery.
- The longtime advice columnist accused Trump of violently sexually assaulting her in a Manhattan Bergdorf Goodman dressing room in the mid-1990s. Trump has vigorously denied Carroll's allegations.
- Carroll, who went public with her rape allegation against Trump last June, celebrated the development on Thursday, tweeting, "WE MOVE AHEAD!!"

Donald Trump accused of sexual assault by former model Amy Dorris
Dorris became the 26th woman to make accusations of sexual misconduct against Trump, ranging from harassment to sexual assault and rape.
Amy Dorris alleges she was sexually assaulted by Donald Trump in 1997, when she was 24. Speaking publicly about the alleged incident for the first time, the former model claims Trump grabbed her as she came out of the bathroom of his VIP box at the US Open tennis event, forced his tongue down her throat and held her in a grip from which she could not escape. Trump's lawyers said he denied in the strongest possible terms having ever harassed, abused or behaved improperly toward Dorris.

This video is 100% bullshit. Infowars is a combination entertainment and hard-right propaganda eco-chamber, which uses lies and baseless smears. Alex Jones, the primary figure of Infowars, admitted in court that his job is to entertain (while spreading extremist, right-wing misinformation).

Donald Trump setback in rape defamation case
BBC, 10.28.2020
A US federal judge has dismissed an effort by the Department of Justice (DoJ) to defend President Donald Trump in a case brought by a woman who accuses him of raping her.
Columnist E Jean Carroll accuses Mr Trump of assaulting her in a Manhattan department store in the 1990s. In a lawsuit, she argues the president defamed her when he denied her claim and said she was "totally lying". The DoJ had sought to put itself in the dock as defendant, instead of Mr Trump...
