Need to find good (experienced) home for 1yr. old male Savannah feline

I met a man yesterday when he approached me because of my "cat" mask, and asked for my help in getting his escaped Savannah cat back inside. He's been out for 5 days, since his escape. The guardian is feeding him, but can't get him to come inside. He's already showing signs of being in a fight.

I've enlisted the help of a cat rescuer with a trapping cage, and we're hoping to set it up tomorrow, but in the meantime we're trying to find a good home for him. He's not a breeder, so there's no incentive for breeders.
We just want to find someone who's experienced with Savannahs.

I will contact the Savannah rescue, but I don't want this cat to go into a cage, waiting for adoption. The vet actually suggested putting him down!
