Planned Parenthood withdrawals from Title X over gag rule

Today, Planned Parenthood withdrew from the Title X program, forgoing roughly $57 Million in federal funds per year rather than be bound by the gag rule instituted by Trump that would bar them from even discussing abortion with women (and men).

This will equate to (on average) over a million dollar shortfall in every state, and will surely have a negative impact on not only women's - but societies health. This will have wide ranging consequences on our society as millions of women (and many men as well) will likely have less access to cancer screenings, STD testing, contraception, education, etc.

And as we see over and over again under Trump- the most vulnerable and at risk persons in our society are placed at greater and greater risk.
