Images not appearing inline

Hi folks,

Recently I've tried to insert images into my posts (which I've done many times), but lately instead of inserting them inline, they are being attached as a thumbnail at the bottom of the message.

Usually after I browse to the image I want, then select the image and click Open to begin uploading it, it will usually pop the image in at the insertion point I selected right after the upload completes. However now, I am getting NO image in my post. And I get this message:

"Your image was attached, click Preview Post to view"

When I click Preview Post, it just shows me the text of my message, plus the thumbnail of the image I uploaded at the bottom of the page.

Has something changed? Any idea what's going on? Am I doing something wrong?

Be sure you are using the image tool in the edtior toolbar and not the Attach/Removed Images and Files button below the posting window.

I am using the square icon that says "Image" when you hover over it, same as always. I almost never use the Attach option below the posting window.

I think this is only happening in the new Standing Rock forum! I just posted images inline in two other forums with no problem.

Hi there, any ideas? Again, I THINK it's only happening in the new Standing Rock forum.

And yes, I am using the Image button with a green tree on it above the message body, not the Attach/Remove Images and Files at the bottom.
