Habitat for Humanity of Sonoma county is seeking construction volunteers. Volunteers are the backbone of our success in building hope and homes for families in need. No previous construction skills are expected. We will provide all the tools, training, and safety equipment needed to work on our construction site. You bring close-toed shoes, a (recommended) bag lunch, and your enthusiasm and desire to help your community!
Habitat homes are built with 90% volunteer labor. Construction volunteers work alongside our dedicated construction team, Crew Leader volunteers, and partner families to help us build Habitat houses.
Construction volunteer opportunities take place from 7:30am-2:00pm Tuesday-Friday and Saturday when available. We are currently working in the city of Sonoma, and we'll be started new projects in new locations soon! Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age to be on a job site.
