There are pages and pages of accusations and opinions about Snopes on the internet ... I spent a lot of time one day trying to read it all and then gave up ... it does seem that they are guilty of non-disclosure of funding, which is what makes most critics question their accuracy ... some accuse them of taking money from Soros but I've found no evidence to prove that ....

I agree with you about Snopes. I read the same about the non-disclosure of being funded by well-known individuals and organizations who have been paying Snopes.com to debunk stories that cast them in a bad light, while validating damaging half-truths and rumors about their political opponents.

And...if they have been supported by Soros, you're thinking the influence wielded would be--what, pressure to make the world yet more transparent? I mean--we know some influence (Koch bros.) aims at squashing the Little People, but what's your concern about Soros?
