    Canadian corporation uses NAFTA to sue U.S. over Keystone Pipeline

    "...the canary in the coalmine." This is how Lori Wallach, Director Public Citizen's Global Trade Watch, describes the lawsuit brought by TransCanada over the Keystone Pipeline. The corporation is using the Investor-State Dispute Settlement (ISDS) provision to sue for compensation over future lost profits--to the tune of $15 billion.
