A new threat to be concerned about?

I reckon that once this issue becomes well known in the Sebastopol area, a local anti-DHMO movement will arise. Did you know that breathing DHMO can kill within minutes of inhalation?

    From the DHMO.org website:

"Welcome to the web site for the Dihydrogen Monoxide Research Division (DMRD), currently located in Newark, Delaware. The controversy surrounding dihydrogen monoxide has never been more widely debated, and the goal of this site is to provide an unbiased data clearinghouse and a forum for public discussion.
Explore our many Special Reports, including the DHMO FAQ, a definitive primer on the subject, plus reports on the environment, cancer, current research, and an insider exposé about the use of DHMO in the dairy industry..."

Have there been any deaths from this reported in our area? Or maybe if someone did die, there was no linking to DHMO?

I just looked at the website, and recommend that people read the FAQs, if nothing else. You will learn a lot, and maybe save a child's life who plays with "Beyblades" toys.

I would post more here, but I know that Barry is cracking down on long posts, which I'm guilty of when trying to inform members, who may not click on the website.

Hmmm, after doing further research I'm wondering if this is a real threat or a hoax .... looks like a hoax to me ... did you do any research Dixon to verify this?

With so much need for people to contribute their skills and talents to our dying planet, it amazes what people spend their time on....

All of the information about dihydrogen monoxide at https://www.dhmo.org/ is absolutely true. The DHMO mime is used to encourage critical thinking and scientific literacy and is especially valuable to those who suffer from Chemophobia.

It was obviously a mockery to me to show how mockers see the issues activists are trying to spread awareness of... that the mockers see as pointless, inflammatory for no reason and a waste of their time to understand the sum of evidence that has convinced so many intelligent people why better choices can be made for themselves and their children.

You know... all those baseless, ridiculous issues like GMO's, vaccinations and the constitution while the mockers happily feed at the GMO trough and mindlessly pull their pants down to criminals for needles full of toxic ingredients they know nothing about....... With so much at stake especially these dangerous choices being forced on children, I don't find the mockery in the least funny.
(thanks to very talented cartoonist Ben Garrison for taking an idea I proposed and drawing this masterpiece)

Hope this will be posted elsewhere too, where it can get more exposure. It's a perfect graphic of our reality.

I'm reading "Collapsing Consciously"~Transformative Truths for Turbulent Times by Carolyn Baker. I highly recommend it. She's written others, but this is the first one I've read.

More gems from the DHMO.org website. Yup, that H2O is bad, bad stuff.

The dangers, uses and potential threats posed by this chemical, Dihydrogen Monoxide, are widespread, and some feel, terrifying. Here is just a small taste of what Dihydrogen Monoxide (DHMO) is:
    • Some call Dihydrogen Monoxide the "Invisible Killer"
    • Others think dihydrogen monoxide should be Banned
    • Dihydrogen Monoxide is linked to gun violence
    • Dihydrogen monoxide was found at every recent school shooting
    • Athletes use DIHYDROGEN MONOXIDE, or DHMO, to enhance performance
    • Dihydrogen Monoxide has been found in our rivers, lakes, oceans and streams
    • Dihydrogen Monoxide is a major component of acid rain
    • Thousands die each year after inhaling dihydrogen monoxide
    • Dihydrogen Monoxide can be deadly

Re: A new threat to be concerned about?

"Chemophobia"? ... now that sounds like a new discrediting term ....

While dhmo might be an elaborate hoax, the use of verifiable harmful chemicals in our world certainly is not ... so now we have a word to discredit those who are sounding the alarm about all of this ... not surprising ...
