25% less Milk - Same Price for Product

FYI - I just came from Safeway where I buy a pint of milk every two weeks for my tea.
The "Pint" is now 12 ounces and the price is still $1.25. I have bought the 16 ounce size because that is all I use and I hate the waste of throwing out the remainder of a quart gone bad.
The worst part the price for the item still said it was a pint and broke the price down by ounce based on a 16 ounce container. To the best of my knowledge this is illegal.

I've noticed this practice has increased on many items over the past few years, but mostly goes unnoticed. You may want to approach the manager, or someone in the corporate office. Also posting on Facebook seems to get attention, when you "SHARE" with friends and the public.
