    I think we've got a very capable City Council. However . . . a fundraiser for the incumbents, sponsored -- or at least advertised by -- the mayor, and in a city publication? Please tell me I misunderstand . . .

    I had the same question. But it appears to me that Robert Jacob is using his own, not his city council, email account.And, if you read any of his previous newsletters over the last two years, has not represented the contents as anything other than his own views on city council issues.
