I'm looking for a new safe place to live!!!

Meow . . . My name is BabyCat, and my loving mom just passed away last Friday. My special, second mum does not have an environment where I can go . . . . . SO . . . ???
I am a very, sweet, Senior Lady - black & white - long-haired . . . declawed (BEFORE I was rescued/adopted into this home). . . and need thyroid medicine rubbed into alternating ears every evening. Other than that {and a few bursts of "frantic" energy every once in a while (???)}, I am a quiet {OK,OK I do have a rather "different" yowl}, non-demanding (unless it's feeding time), pussycat. While I let my special mum pick me up occasionally, I'm not a lap cat, and tend to sleep a lot - especially if there's a spot of sunshine somewhere I can reach.
My mom was sick most of the year, and gone from the home a lot - but with my special mum to take care of me, I am relatively well adjusted to the loss. However, I'm NOT fond of other cats or dogs. . and probably would not know what to do with children! If your heart and home are open to taking me in - for a while {did I mention that I'm OVER 20 years old??} . . . it would make my Moms VERY happy!!! Purr, Purr . .
