Did you ever wonder why you take the trouble to study the issues, weigh the candidates, and vote? What does any of this mean to our crazy comic book Congress? How much longer will we, the American people, be forced to pay our taxes and support the obviously silly mistakes like the current so-called "sequestration" mess? They might as well call it the "castration" of the American people and our struggling economy.

Consider this please. There is one, lonely and nearly broke Congresswoman from Illinois who is taking a pay cut during this sequestration period. She is a brave former soldier who lost her lower extremities in Congress' most stupid and pointless wars, the latest one in Iraq, unless I'm mistaken. Her name is Representative Tammy Duckworth. Why hasn't the media covered her brave stand? The reality of the current disgusting mess in Washington,which isn't ALL the fault of Congress alone, is simply incredible.

Once upon a time there were thirteen British colonies in North America who were led by men and brave women. They met in this Philadelphia hall. NONE of them were paid one cent by a federal government. If they received anything for their service (most of them did not), they were paid something by their state governments.

Only when there are enough people, so-called "ordinary" Americans, who are willing to form a new political party to get rid of the special interests with their minions in Congress will we EVER get any real reform.
