Greetings Community! We have an agreement with Jean at Alpine Hall in Santa Rosa on Saint Helena Rd. to do Sunday Services in the afternoon!!! What time would work best for the community? Next steps are to find a secretary & treasurer to file for our non-profit status. I'm meeting March 2nd with my friend and mentor, Rev. Chris Bell of Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Santa Rosa,, to see about being a Unitarian Universalist Congregation. If not, we will file as a Universal Life Church which also allows us complete freedom to create a congregation/fellowship that works for the whole community.
Imagine a place of worship where all faiths, including Atheist & Agnostic are welcome. Where art, music, poetry, and yes, singing the holy names of God/Goddess/That Great Mystery are all welcomed. Where Pagans can actually sit down with Christians/Muslims, Catholics, Etc, and break bread. We are hoping to have a monthly potluck after one of the services. Lots of room in the creation of our community worship service for all ideas-Including yours!!!!! Hoping to have our first service in July /Aug? Call or write me:
Also, a plug for Alpine Hall-The owner, Jean, is a sweet elder with a great meeting hall-very reasonable rates(Hour, day, weekend). It has a wood dance floor (Soul Motion, Happensdance community, Dancers, Music Venue), a fireplace, and has parking for up to 50 vehicles. Her phone number is 707-538-4235.
May you be Blessed in Love & service,
Rev. Michael Walsh
