Cell phone boosters

We live off Bloomfield Road in west Sonoma County and have never had cell phone reception with either Verizon or AT & T (and now not with Credo/Sprint) at our home. I mean not even one bar unless we trekked way up to the top of a nearby hill and then only one of our two phones worked half-way well there.

Has anyone in the community had success with any type of device that provided cell phone reception where there wasn't any before? Such as the Micro Cell device that AT & T provides that works off an internet connection? or any of the others that simply boost an existing weak signal??

I'm eager to hear others' experiences.

I'm guessing you're at the South end of Bloomfield towards Canfield Rd, the other side of the Burnside Ridge.

We use the AT&T M-Cell https://www.att.com/standalone/3gmicrocell/ connected via Comcast and the service is great. No AT&T cell reception at all where we are (Occidental Rd) - Great service but you will need a reliable and fast internet service.

I also have a 3G cell phone booster at our farm which boosts the signal from 1 bar to 4 for my Verizon cell phone from the tower up on Burnside Rd. https://www.wilsonelectronics.com/ That works reasonably well, but you will need at least to have some sort of signal to amplify.

Your best bet is the AT&T M-cell if you have a good internet connection. Good luck!

I have T Mobile and they allow you to use a feature called Wi-Fi calling that runs off of a wireless network. I use it in my home where the signal is poor and I prefer not to stand in the street to talk on the phone. You dont need any boosters it is just a feature on the phone, you simply turn it on. However, it works with any wireless signal to which you are connected. An added bonus is that when I use Wi-Fi calling it doesn't count for my minuets used.
