My POSITIVE Experience with this Mortgage Broker. I Could Have Saved Up to $3,000

    Hello Everyone,

I just want to let others know that today I had a positive experience with a Mortgage Broker located in Penn Valley, near the foothills of the Sierras outside of Grass Valley, Ca.... Nevada County. I live in Sonoma County.

I found Rick Pelleriti by chance when I typed in a search on YouTube for a definition of "yield spread premium" and "how to lock in a loan rate". You see, I had put myself through some confusion earlier in the day with a different mortgage broker regarding the type of interest rate I had locked into for a loan on a property a few days prior. I didn't feel good about the terms of the interest rate, and I wasn't getting the answers I needed from my mortgage broker. Subsequently, I wanted to get a second opinion about the terms of my percentage rate, (or loan product) so I called Rick.

I have to say that I would have enjoyed the opportunity to work with Rick, but I had already committed to opening escrow on a property with a short close time, so I could not switch brokers today. I also could have saved about $3,000 by working with him. But that didn't stop Rick from spending forty five minutes of his time on the phone with me... helping to educate me about my questions and concerns. He had nothing to gain by this, except good will, and that's what happens when people give of themselves in this way.

If any of you are feeling uneasy about the mortgage loan process, then I recommend Rick Pelleriti for his ability to explain the transaction and its terms in layman's language. He'll make sure you have a complete understanding of what loan product you're choosing; the advantages and disadvantages for your unique situation of what you wish to achieve with a particular loan instrument. Please have a look for yourself at the two videos I watched earlier today, and you'll see how Rick comes across. Thank you for your help Rick! Next time for sure...
