Childcare Share?

Hi all,

We are new family in Sebastopol with a three year old daughter. She'll be attending a Waldorf school, so those open to this approach would be nice, but anyone who feels children are better playing in nature, helping to cook, or singing and dancing rather than watching T.V. is just fine by us. While we are open to paying a like minded sitter if one is reading this, ideally we would like to meet a family or two or three that would like to do possible exchanges for occasional childcare (i.e. we watch your kids you watch yours). We have a wide variety of interests ( hiking,yoga, music,cooking,etc...) and it would be nice if we connect too, but not necessary (it's for the kids!). If any of this piques your interest just get in touch through this e-mail and we can talk about details.

Welcome to the area. I love your idea and think it would fit in great with our family as well. We are 5 (myself, partner Michael, Gabriel-5, Amelia-2 and Angela-3weeks) Gabriel is attending Sunridge (Waldorf) kindergarten next week and we are very excited! What school is your daughter attending? I feel quite wrapped up in adjusting to the new life with 3 however would love to meet up sometime when is convenient for our families. We live in Forestville but drive into Sebastopol every morning for school so let me know and maybe we can meet at the park.
I think this is a fabulous idea and look forward to getting some social time for our kids (and us :)!
