Now I am really puzzled. Every day I see posts from you in my Digest trumpeting Ron Paul and the Libertarian cause. Do not Libertarians believe in a much reduced government role (i.e. reduced government spending)? Yet this cartoon shows clearly the results of such policies! Are you not undercutting your own professed views?

Nay, nay. When you say reduced government spending you think social programs. When I think it, it means cutting back our military empire building, and idiotic wasteful useless government agencies such as the Department of the Interior, and hey, the IRS, which will free up much needed money for infrastructure, social programs, and the economic prosperity of the people. The debt load of this empire building alone, is making everyone have to scramble exponentially like gerbils just to barely keep their standard of living (or lose it) through inflation of the dollar.

ahh.. now I understand the appeal of Ron Paul. He's Lewis Carroll's Humpty Dumpty.

I always sort of knew that, but I didn't think his supporters did.

I have heard from several sources that he wasnt "celibate in college... dont know if its true though and of course that wouldnt matter to me.. I turn my back on him for other and rapidly becoming even more well known reasons. I just keep doing what I can to open eyes... I will say this.. "politics makes strange bedfellows" is not only amusing to say but is also true literally.. or is the amusing way literal and the other way just scary? in any case I am dipping my toes in the water and the water looks awfully dark and dangerous out there..
WAKE UP AMERICA AND VOTE RON PAUL 2012

Re: Political Cartoons - Spring 2012

arrrg I just woke up from a two hour nap so nothing makes much sense to me O.o and the first email I opened was one asking if I.. as a member of that particular group thought they should be in support of obama. O.o

ok I'm more awake and a little less in shock and some these cartoons are down right hilarious lol can send them to myself at work?

Again I ask each and every one of you to put aside any preconceived ideas and go to you tube to watch the candidates debate and discuss issues. you have to go there because of the pretty much complete media blackout

I'm not going to mention a potential name here because after spending some thoughtful time watching and comparing I know you will be able to pick out which man is the best one for our COUNTRY at this time, maybe not the one best for a special group, maybe not the one with the best or worst photo shoot, maybe not the one who is best for women or for men or for kids or for teenagers or anyone inbetween, but the best one for the whole UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!

AMERICA WAKE UP 2012.. well I've been saying that for months now and posting it everywhere I can think of and it looks like its done some good and I'll keep at it.... I just hope it wll be enough.. I'm not old enough to feel like I have no future..

Re: Political Cartoons - Spring 2012

, I went to the YouTube and searched for "AMERICA WAKE UP 2012", and got mostly Ron Paul propaganda but no video with any title with the word "debate" in it, just Ron Paul and others critical of Obama.

I don't know if it is the organization you were referring to but so far it looks like MoveOn.org will be endorsing Obama 2012.... ...Over 90% out of a 2/3 majority necessary of voting members just a while ago.

BTW Me thinks that a RP style Free Market Economy in the present environment would = ~

Maybe RP will get enough votes for gvt funds next time in 2016 but he would most likely not except the funds anyway so I don't see the point. He won't get very many if any electoral votes in 2012; certainly not enough to "win".

Well.. Like i've said and like i've been saying and like i will keep on saying.. Wake up america!! Open your eyes!! Your country is being stolen and gutted by people in high places and those who have sworn to protect you.

This is not about political parties which separate us by petty differences or whether you like cilantro or i think it tastes like soap. This is about the chance to save our country for the next four years..

That's me.. That's you.. That's the people down the road and across the country with all the kids in other places who deserve to live lives without threats and fear. They deserve the future and their own shot at integrity and keeping america free.. ..

I can't believe that all good things could come to this...

Re: Political Cartoons - Spring 2012

I know the feeling all too well. You know; the attempts made to give the wake-up calls and all that.

It is frustrating at times and can be infuriating at times too.

I have learned to be more tolerant of the realities of the differing time it takes for other people to see the things I have seen and even some times that I predicted; (that took many years and I am still learning "to be more patent,[I hope]).

Then even far more irritating is the time lag it usually takes for enough to take to action that has any positive effect for the necessary changes it will take for the young to have even the same chance as my generation had, never mind (the) "better" chance for them, or what is in store in the future for the elderly, weak, and feeble.

FWIW, I also noticed that some do better when they have had enough "sleep".

Re: Political Cartoons - Spring 2012

Any YouTube links to an actual debate between presidential candidates from more than one party from the 2012 election cycle or at least a specific debate, names, date/s, place where the debate occurred, etc so someone could do a search from would be appreciated.
Otherwise I won't bother searching YouTube at this point because I don't know of any that have taken place between candidates of differing parties as of yet.
