I've wanted to ask this question for years now, but I'm loathe to offend anyone (well, maybe just a little....)
According to a certain dictum subscribed to by more than a billion people, martyrs who die because of noble acts (such as blowing up people) tied to these beliefs, may expect, upon arriving in Paradise, 72 virgins.
My question is, since women too have martyred themselves in this manner, may they also expect the company of 72 virgins? And if the answer is yes, would they be male, female, or androgynous virgins?

What the men don't know,however, is that the 72 virgins are all Catholic nuns. KIDDING!
