Live Traffic Information for West County?

Good evening:

Does anyone know where to get live &/or frequently updated traffic information for West County? I live in Rio Nido & the constant road repairs & long delays are insane. It seems like ALL the alternative routes (River Rd, Rt. 116, Armstrong Woods Rd., & Guerneville Rd.) are currently under construction ... but it would be nice to know where & when the work is actually going on (as opposed to the signs just being up) so I can plan alternative routes.

Can't help you with direct info about west county traffic. But I have a suggestion or two.

Perhaps if you set up a twitter account, call it @sonomaroads maybe. People who participate in it could tweet current road blockages from their cellphones, while they're waiting in traffic.

Beg, badger, cajol, coerce, bribe Barry to set up a forum on WaccoBB, maybe called Sonoma County Roads, were users could post info about blockages or other road conditions in their immediate area. It also might provide a medium for things like "cellphone pic of the day" along Sonoma County highways.
