Does anyone know anything about the invisible aircraft making really really loud noise lately in
the area? It's starting to bug me.

Looking further, I disovered there's an airshow this weekend...perhaps it's practice?

Odd, though, because I heard it a couple of days ago too, and today it's just non-stop, and includes sonic booms, and I can see nothing in the sky at all.

leela8,
Sonic booms carry over long distances. And often the fighter jets making them are flying at low altitudes, especially compared to passenger aircraft.
Hope this helps.

Forestville 10 years, all over Sebastopol 22 years, Sonoma County 35 years. I think there's WAY more aircraft capable of breaking the sound barrier this year than ever before and that;s why its getting noticed more. Just look at that link at what they've got in the air-lots of military jets.... Its annoying but only for two days.
