    Lily plants poisonous to cats

    An FYI if you happen to not know. I discovered last weekend when I brought a lily plant home to brighten up my veggie garden, that both the leaves and the flower are poisonous to cats. Not dogs or other animals, just cats. $750 vet bill and 2 days of I.V.s for my kitty. Oh, Iris leaves/flowers will make them sick, but aren't poisonous.
