P.D. "TEEN FACE" on microlending filmmaker Jake Eakle

SEE today's P.D. Teen Face article on Jake Eakle and the jouyous, touching and educational film he and two other high school seniors have created, about microlending, "Village HopeCore, Ending Poverty in Kenya"

Then, come tmw night to FrogSong Co-Housing June 7th at 8 p.m. and see the film (directions below)

or write to Jake at villagehopecore@gmail and reqeust a copy of the dvd. Help us show this to high school students, student groups, service groups, interested adults --

The U.N. Secretary General and just about everyone else agrees that microlending is an incredibly viable solution to poverty. There are 3000 microlending organizations in the world now.

    Directions to Frogsong Cohousing
8290 Old Redwood Highway, Cotati, CA 94931

    Driving from Mexico:

From the Golden Gate Bridge take 101 north about 40 miles.

(From the East Bay, take the San Rafael/Richmond Bridge to Marin County.
You'll merge with Route 101 in San Rafael - about 25 or 30 miles south of
    Cotati)

After you pass Petaluma, take the West Sierra exit (it's the exit after
    Railroad).

At the bottom of the ramp, turn right. In about a quarter of a mile, you
will see the Cotati Police station on your left. You will come to a stop
sign. Go slowly through the stop sign (police are vigilant). The next right
after the stop sign is Page. Turn right on Page.

Page will end at Old Redwood Highway. Across the highway, you will be facing
mustard yellow and ketchup red buildings. That is our cohousing community.
The ketchup and mustard building on your right is the common house where the
    concert will be held.

If you can, find parking on Page. There is also parking on Ross, a new
street on the east side of our community. The easiest way to get there from
Page: make a left turn on Old Redwood Highway. At the stop sign, turn right.
Pass the driveway that some people confuse for a road - turn right at the
picket fence (That's Ross Street). Turn right and park anywhere on Ross that
doesn't have a red curb. Just past the wooden fence on the right you'll find
steps and a walkway leading to the common house.

    Driving from Canada:

Take U.S. 101 southbound past Santa Rosa and Rohnert Park.
Pass the Rohnert Park Expressway and exit at Gravenstein Hwy/CA-116 West.

At the light at the bottom of the ramp, turn left onto Gravenstein.
Go 1/5 of a mile to the second light and turn Right onto Old Redwood
    Highway.

Go 1/2 mile, straight through the traffic light in the plaza, then turn Left
at the next stop sign, which is Charles Street.

The first street on your right (at the white picket fence of the senior
housing community) is Ross Street. Turn right and park anywhere on Ross that
doesn't have a red curb. Just past the wooden fence on the right you'll
find steps and a walkway leading to the common house.

    Call if you have questions.
