ANIMAL LOVERS Please help us to save stray animals in Sonoma County

Hi folks,

My name is Rosanne and I'm the moderater of an on-line group of animal rescuers called Sonoma County Stray Pet Network ...

In the last year this small group of dedicated animal lovers has performed miracles ... we've taken injured animals from the streets and returned them to safety, we've raised money for vet bills, we've donated to animal caretakers who needed financial help, and we feed many many stray animals out in the field. Without our assistance many of these beautiful and innocent animals would die. Most of them were dumped by people who lost their homes, ... some of them are lost ... some of them are wild.


In this new year we have two major goals:


1. We need to increase membership and donations so that we can increase our ability to help our animals ....

2. We need a place to house animals temporarily after surgery or while waiting for adoption.


If you don't know this, most of our good, no-kill county rescue facilities are full..... and the folks that have given up their lives to feed and house these animals are barely surviving ... it's a bleak situation but we are determined to make a difference ...


How can you help?

1. Join us ... keep your eyes open for strays in trouble and report them to us, ... if you've lost a pet tell us, maybe we can help .... share your experiences in the animal world ... become involved in whatever way feels comfortable to you ...

2. Donate ... we are currently accepting unwanted, quality items for sale on ebay ... also, cash donations and pet food donations are greatly appreciated ...

3. We desperately need an old but functional property for our rescue mission ... We have animals that need shelter and nowhere to put them ...
