Occupy Santa Rosa: Sat, Oct 29th Rally and March at 2pm

Dear Comrades,

On Tuesday the brave people of Occupy Oakland, a peaceful encampment, were viciously attacked with tear gas and rubber bullets, had their property destroyed, and hundreds were arrested. Meanwhile, the bankers and CEO's who wrecked our economy, put millions of people out of their homes and their jobs, and who continue pushing for cuts to education and social services, are walking free and living more luxuriously than ever.

Occupy Santa Rosa has maintained a 24 hour presence in front of City Hall, and we are formulating proposals daily to build this movement to take back power for the people. Hundreds of people participate in daily meetings, activities, support and assemblies, and we are slowly building the base for a mass movement to challenge the power of the super-rich.

THIS SATURDAY, October 29th, there will be a HUGE MARCH AND RALLY @ 2pm at City Hall! We are asking everybody to come out and participate! Folks will be setting up tents and establishing a real occupation at City Hall. We are fed up with the repression of our friends across the country, who are standing up, nonviolently, against poverty and inequality. Solidarity is our greatest weapon! Spread the word and join us!

Saturday Rally & March 10/29/11

Occupy Santa Rosa will be holding a Rally and March starting at 2pm at Santa Rosa City Hall on Saturday 10/29/11, After the march we will be setting up camp at the City Hall building. So please come join us and setup your tent and come occupy with us, however we must make notice that we have been told No citations will be given out for camping but arrests will be made.
