Please contact supervisor Carrillo and let him know that it is NOT acceptable for the county to abandon west county roads. Property values will plummet for homes on abandoned roads. When trees fall or a hill slides, locals will be trapped unless the county does its job. I don't get much from county government; this is just about the only thing that I require of them. Let them close parks, libraries and county administration... but they need to maintain the roads that they developed and enticed us all to buy property on.
Question: if the county abandons a road, do the local residents have the right to charge tolls on the road and restrict access?
