Re: I have info about Dentists in Mexico

The term for a citizen of one country seeking medical services in another country is called "Medical Tourism".

Interesting, as our corporate America outsources our jobs to other countries for 1/10th the wage; so too are medical patients "outsourcing" and exporting themselves to take advantage of cheaper medial services that we cannot afford here in our own country!!! And who could blame anyone for this with the state of our medical care system.

WHAT'S WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE??? Ohhh the IRONY of it all! Sooo many things are back a--ward!

I've been aware of medical tourism for the last five years and it's becoming a growing industry folks. Many of the doctors are American transplants, some are not. I read some years ago that the dental care in Brazil rivals that of America, but don't take my word for it as it was just what I read. But check out this link about the subject:

I have a friend who lives in Forestville and he swears by the dental work that he's received in Latin America. Here's some links:

I am leaving this week for Costa Rica to get a dental implant. It is less expensive even with airfare and accommodations than the costs in the U.S. The dentist was recommended to me by two different parties and I got other recommendations also. Most of them have web sites and you can check out their qualifications, bios and communicate with their patient coordinators (in English) by e-mail or phone (toll free). Moonchild
