I'm sure everyone reading this knows what hospice care is. The short of it is that it's saving Medicare billions of taxpayer dollars each year by keeping dying folks out of hospitals.

But the idiot bean counters at Medicare have decided to start billing hospice providers for billions of dollars of "overpayments" made because those darn patients just wouldn't die according to Medicare's expected schedule.

Please write your Senators and Congressperson and beg them to do something about this immediately. Hospice care shouldn't be time limited. Hospice care saves all of us a great deal of money. We will be thankful for it if it's there in time of our need.

The current situation will make it all go out of business within the next couple of years.

Please read up and then write.

Thanks,

-Jeff
