Join Dr. Martin Griffin, local conservation advocacy hero and author of “Saving the Marin-Sonoma Coast.”
Marty was instrumental in the preservation of sanctuaries on Point Reyes, Bolinas Lagoon, Tomales Bay and Sonoma Creek as well as the creation of Audubon Canyon Ranch. Thanks to the efforts of Marty and like-minded conservationists, the coast line of Marin County was rescued from commercial development and held in permanent trust for the public.
This is a rare opportunity to hear from Marty and a team of conservationists, biologists, film-makers and local leaders in an open discussion addressing the issues of pollution, habitat loss and privatization.
Find out how the National Park Service is proposing to further privatize our public land and what you can do to protect and restore the scenic and natural beauty of Point Reyes National Seashore for generations to come.
