Stop the Illegal Eviction of Our Homeless Neighbors!
At the last eviction, I saw a SR police officer keep a woman from getting her prescription medications, even though there were two other cops with him, one of whom could have gone with the woman to confirm that the name on the labels was the same as that on her id. Be there with cameras to document which cops steal.

Sonoma County will be forcibly removing all residents of the Joe Rodota Trail community starting at 9:30am on Wednesday, January 29th. This eviction is illegal, immoral, violent, and inhumane.
We are calling for a rally at the Joe Rodota Trail from 9am until dusk on Wednesday Jan 29th to voice support for our unhoused neighbors and to bear witness as they face a traumatic and violent eviction from their homes at the hands of our government. We will rally to demand humane solutions to housing and homelessness issues in Sonoma County. We will rally to shame our government for doing so little to fix the problem, while continuing to expend resources cruelly evicting people who have nowhere else to go. Join us with your voices and signs of support.
We will also be handing out food to trail residents in the morning. There's a small chance that the sweep of the trail will be canceled due to a challenge of the sweep being heard in court right now--but even if the sweep is canceled, we'll still go to the trail to give out food and moral support to the remaining trail residents.
