    Money, Momentum and the Military...

In the heat of increased military action in the Middle East and the threat of a war with Iran hanging over our heads, this might be an appropriate time to point out that the preferred choice for our next Commander in Chief by active duty military personnel appears to be the old Jewish guy that some seem to think can't garner the momentum needed to win the election.

In my opinion it's rather telling to see that Bernie has received considerably more donations from the men and women in our military than any other candidate. Notably, more than twice as many donations than Buttigieg, who continues to tout his personal experience in our armed forces as a plus factor for his campaign. Apparently his brothers and sisters in service don't think quite as much of him as he thinks of himself.

Also, I consider it noteworthy to point out that Bernie has received almost three times more in donations from individuals in the military than Trump has received. A fact that tends to surprise many.

If you're still on the fence as to whether or not Bernie could win, since for some that's more important than policy, it might be a good time to notice that in this last 2019 quarter of fund-raising the total donations raised by Senator “Pocket-Change” Sanders came to over $34.5 million. This is almost $10 million more than Buttigieg, the guy who sneers at small grassroots fund-raising and is happy to take big checks from the insurance and tech industries.

In the month of December alone Bernie raised over $18 million. That's more than Warren raised for the entire fourth quarter.

The end of 2019 marked 5 million individual donations thus far for Senator Sanders. This represents more individual donations than any candidate at this point and time in a campaign in the history of the United States.

It seems pretty clear to me that Bernie has the power of the people behind him unlike any other candidate in the race. This is exactly the excitement and engagement that is needed to win.

The endorsements keep rolling in, the polls keep climbing, the crowds keep growing and party insiders, corporate interests, Wall Street and mainstream media keep trying to sell us a centrist. It appears that the American people simply are not buying....
