    Native American Heritage Month

For so many of us, November is a time for holidays with friends and family. In the shuffle, letís not forget about another important observance in November: Native American Heritage Month.

Despite the discrimination and erasure the Native American community continues to face, November provides us an opportunity to celebrate the history and contributions of Native people, and a chance to #EraseTheHate by educating ourselves and others.

Thatís why weíll be spotlighting the Native American community all month long by exploring facts, key leaders, Change Makers, and their contributions to our community. For exampleódid you know there are nearly 7 million Native Americans and 573 federally recognized tribes in America?

Follow us on Twitter as we explore the vast history of Native people and share the rich culture, values, and stories that built our nation.
Youíll find out that and more in posts like these two, which uplift the incredible diversity within the Native American community itself:
Letís make sure this November is just the beginning. By learning more about Native American and Indigenous communities, we can be equipped with information to help Erase The Hate and continue to celebrate their work throughout the year.

To learn more and find ways to help Erase The Hate this month and every month, follow us here.
    See you online,
    The Erase The Hate Team
