POSTPONED!

Join us for our third annual Social Justice Cafe at Ner Shalom on Sunday, October 27th from 12:30 to 5pm. Our event focuses on Immigration and Refugee Rights. Elaine Leeder, Dean Emerita, Sonoma State University, our featured presenter, will speak about the history of American Jewish immigration. There will be additional speakers from Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society (HIAS), My American Dream, Queer Asylum Accompaniment (QAA) of Rapid Response Network), and Never Again is Now. Local immigration groups will share the work they are doing and how members of the community can get involved.
This is a FREE event and your purchase of food and raffle tickets helps us support local agencies and the Social Justice Committee.
The Organic Cafe opens at 12:30 so come early, get a bite to eat, speak to the local representatives of the various organizations, peruse Jami's art installation and get ready for a great afternoon.
This is a scent-free event. Please be mindful.
