DON'T BE AFRAID TO ROCK THE BOAT By Maria Owl

If you're a Light Leader, you have to get used to making people feel uncomfortable, because your first priority is always Unity. And when people want you to take sides and play their games, and YOU DON'T, they can feel threatened. Because if you're not taking their side, then you must be taking the other side. Sides have rules. Rules not made by sane people. The competition to be better, right, in control, hold the power, to win, is enforced by a power-over paradigm that needs us to be at odds with each other, so they can manipulate us through fear. When we don't play the game - We Rock the Boat! And when you rock the boat, You Wake People Up! Simply because you're standing for a Truth beyond entrenched duality. Unity means We Are All One. Unity means We Choose Love over fear. Unity means Collaboration and Family - No One Is Expendable. I seem to have been born to Rock the Boat. I don't even try and I'm rocking a boat somewhere! Even writing this, is going to make someone somewhere feel uncomfortable and threatened. Being a Latina. Being Indigenous. Being a Woman. Being Multi-racial. Being a survivor of abuse and now thriving - even this can piss people off, because I made it, and maybe they didn't. When I was 20 I found myself on an Indian reservation in South Dakota, supporting a very powerful ceremony with many others. I was naive, to be sure. But I was also fiercely protected by my spiritual guides and ancestors. I was sexually harassed by more than one native man. I was lied to. Used. Betrayed. Yet... I stayed with this family for over 5 years, as an initiate on the Red Road. I kept forgiving and sweeping things under the carpet... WHY? Because that's what women who grow up with abuse do. I didn't know how to have boundaries and I didn't know how to stand up for myself. I took the shaming and sexual harassment for all those years by my teacher and his son, until it finally went too far. In the middle of a doctoring ceremony - all the lights out, loud drumming and singing - I was molested. It happened in my own home. Because of this experience, I learned how to Rock Boats. How to break the silence. How to stand up for human rights - women's rights - and my safety. I confronted my teacher with integrity, strength and power. He looked afraid of me as I spoke to him. ...And the next morning he snuck out of the house before sunrise, without saying goodbye. I never saw or spoke to him again. My heart broke from that experience, just like every time I had felt betrayed by my father. But this time, rather than shrinking, I had spoken out! And this made me stronger. And I also became clearer on what I wanted my life to be and what I wouldn't put up with anymore. Without this experience I wouldn't have had the courage to stand up for my clients and students over the last 20 years, so they could find their voices. As Light Leaders we are Programmed to Wake Up, so we can wake others up. My mission is to support people to remember who they are beyond duality, personality, egoic attachments, and false identities. I'm here to Shatter the Illusion! So, Light Leaders, don't be afraid of rocking the boat! Speaking out creates safety, because true safety is Self-Respect and Self-Love. STRONG, BEAUTIFUL SISTERS, LET'S PRONOUNCE TOGETHER: I AM BIG I AM HERE I'M NOT GOING AWAY I'M NOT SHRINKING I'M NOT CHANGING SO YOU CAN BE COMFORTABLE I AM STANDING RIGHT HERE ANCHORED IN LOVE ANCHORED IN TRUTH DEVOTED TO LOVE AND TRUTH DEVOTED TO FUTURE GENERATIONS DEVOTED TO THE EARTH DEVOTED TO MYSELF I PRONOUNCE - I AM SAFE IN THE WORLD I AM SAFETY ITSELF I GENERATE MY OWN SAFETY JUST BY PROCLAIMING MY TRUTH I AM A DAUGHTER OF THE GREAT UNIVERSAL MOTHER WHEN I SPEAK, IT IS SHE WHO SPEAKS WHEN I LOOK AT YOU, IT IS SHE WHO LOOKS AT YOU WHEN I SAY "NO", I MEAN NO! WHEN I CHOOSE JOY, I KNOW I DESERVE IT. WHEN I CHOOSE WEALTH, I KNOW I CAN HAVE IT. I AM NOT ASHAMED TO CREATE THE LIFE OF MY DREAMS. I AM THE MOTHER AND THE MOTHER GIVES BIRTH TO ALL I AM THE MOTHER AND THE MOTHER HOLDS ALL IN HER HEART I AM THE MOTHER AND THE MOTHER REPLENISHES AS SHE CHOOSES, WHEN SHE CHOOSES, HOW SHE CHOOSES. I AM THE MOTHER AND I PROCLAIM - CHILDREN! WAKE UP! DON'T WASTE ANYMORE OF YOUR PRECIOUS LIFE FIGHTING FOR CONTROL OR TO BE RIGHT - THE TIME OF COMPETITION IS OVER THE TIME OF UNITY IS UPON US! THERE IS MORE THAN ENOUGH FOR EVERYONE THERE ALWAYS HAS BEEN AND NOW THAT THE DIVINE MOTHER ENERGY HAS RETURNED TO EARTH THE CHILDREN OF EARTH CAN FINALLY WAKE UP AND REMEMBER THAT- YOU YOURSELVES ARE MORE THAN ENOUGH ALWAYS WERE, ALWAYS WILL BE! "ABUNDANCE" VIBRATES AT NATURAL LAW AND UNIVERSAL LAW LUSH, LOVING, VIBRANT LIFE PULSING FROM ALL CORNERS OF THE GALAXY - THIS IS MY TRUTH YOU ARE THIS TRUTH. RECLAIM YOURSELF FROM THE LIES THAT HAVE SEDUCED YOU. I LOVE YOU. IT'S TIME TO COME HOME. ASHE AND SO IT IS.
