I just received the following link to a recent article in the SF Chronicle. Sonoma used to be an ag county--no longer. Only 4% of the veggies and fruit sold here are grown here.
"This is a good article, save the lack of connecting not all farming is the same or necessarily good for the planet. IOW, agri business and conversion to vineyards from row crops or grass lands comes with many negatives not addressed in the article. I do get that was not the point of the article - just saying."
