Obama's time is nearly up. Here's what I've written him at whitehouse.gov:
PLEASE release Chelsea Manning, Mumia Abu-Jamal and Leonard Peltier and pardon Edward Snowden--none of whom have done anyone any harm--immediately. For another couple of weeks you are still Commander In Chief of all US armed forces; you can walk into the stockade, demand the key to the cell of Private Manning, whom the prison administrators are trying to drive to suicide, and send her home without a word of discussion, and no one can say Boo to you about it. The heads of the Pennsylvania prison, after Abu-Jamal contracted Hepatitis C from unsanitary prison conditions, are trying to keep him from having the medication that would cure it, so that HE will die in prison. Leonard Peltier has an aortic aneurism that will kill him if he doesn't get adequate medical care (which he clearly is not getting in prison) soon. We haven't had such a monstrous president as Trump since Andrew Trail-of-Tears Jackson was in the White House; please throw at least these three clear of the burning building.
